I purchased this tree at Goodwill a month ago with the
idea that it would make a nice Christmas tree for my kitchen.
I found some glitzy gold and bronze stems to give it a
little bit of bling. I thought I'd do something a little
more sparkly for a change.
The first thing I put in the tree was the gold fern cut into smaller pieces.
Then I added the bronze fern pieces.
I removed the large pine cones, but left the smaller ones.
Then I added in the glittery pine cones and acorns.
After attaching the pine cones and acorns, I added
the small red berries on gold stems.
All done and ready for it's place in my kitchen.

It hardly resembles the same humble tree! This is so pretty with the natural elements.

What a beautiful little tree. I wish I could look at a tree and see what I can do with it. Instead I follow people who can!
Thank you for linking up to the first ever "Amaze Me Monday" blog party.
You're the best!
It sure doesn't look like a Goodwill tree anymore, Cindy! I love the little acorns. I use them on the southwest inspired tree that I decided I can't possibly put up this year. Eight trees are just too much for me this year, and this one is 12 ft. tall. Next year....
Love your glass bowl of contemporary blue balls and shells in your other post.
See you on Saturday! Don't forget to bring the shopping cart. :-) Sue
You made that Charlie Brown tree sing! Love the metallic bronze with it...yummy :)
