Goodwill Tableware

All three pieces of today's table setting were found on separate
occassions at local Goodwill stores in town.

I picked up the blue salad plates first just because they
were so versatile.  Next, I found the cute chicken soup bowls.  I think
the little side handles make them unique and what I like most about them.

Last week I found the gold dinner plates which were a perfect match
and completed the set.  The blue goblets were found last summer
at a yard sale.

It's amazing what a cute table you can set on a budget with Goodwill finds.
Maybe not exactly a spring tablescape, but cheerful just the same.
Perfect setting for some home-made chicken soup.
Sorry for the poor quality pictures, it was getting ready to storm
here and the lighting was not so good.

You turned your finds into treasures! Love the blue and yellow combination. The soup bowls are darling and certainly add a festive touch to the plates. Love your goblets too. Glad I dropped in.

That looks very welcoming and at those prices you can go back again and again, right? ;)

I would love a bowl of chicken noodle soup...when should I arrive? :D

What a lovely table setting! I found identical blue goblets at a local thrift store here. They are Duratuff by Libby, no longer made, but once came in dark & light blue, light green, clear & amethyst. Our color is called dusky blue.

Great finds! Our GW's in my area are not that great. All the good stuff is sent to the online store. You did very well and I love those soup bowls. Thanks for sharing.

What a nice cheery spring table. Blue and yellow are great colors for this time of year. I love the little bowls. I find 90% of my dishes at thrift stores, I am always amazed at what people give away.
