Hanging on to Summer

I feel like I've been hanging onto summer much longer than usual this year.
Maybe it's because we've had such a pleasant fall that my mind
refuses to accept that it is November already.

The last few roses who bravely bloom despite the frost. . .

red sedum, fresh salad greens, strawberry blossoms, free-ranging chickens,
and other summer pleasures that are hanging on as hard as I am to
these last sweet, wonderfully warm days.

I don't know what happened to my sedum this year. But I still have a few pink roses blooming underneath the vines.

Amazing what you have blooming in your garden still friend! My goodness! Your sedums are on fire and your roses are gorgeous! We have had a lot of cold weather and several hard frosts so we have nothing happening at all. So nice to see color in someone else's garden! Happy week!!

Walking around our neighbourhood and garden centres we see so many colourful displays of flowering plants. The weather is still quite mild. It's the wind that can be chilly and we had some frost last night. Your sedum looks good. I love that deep pink colour. Have a good week!

My Sedum is also the most gorgeous shade of burgundy this year.
Yours is spectacular.
Love what's blooming still in your garden.
