Redbud Beauty

It's been so long since I've done a post that I didn't even know the format had changed.  It just goes to show you, when you're not looking, something is always being updated.
Seems like I've been away forever ~ mostly a combination of being so busy and not having anything to say.  Thought today I'd just share a few pictures of some branches I cut from my redbud tree.

I was out trimming my jungle of a yard and thought I might as well make an arrangement instead of throwing them away.

I set them on the vanity in my bedroom where I
could see them often and when I sit down to curl my
hair in the morning.

I love the shadows the flowers cast on the wall from the glow of the overhead chandelier.

In the midst of all the extra responsibilities that come
with spring and the outside care of a garden and home,
it is nice to slow down and enjoy the simple
beauty of spring blossoms.

Hi Cindy,
LOVE the redbud! I am going to remember this and bring branches inside this year to, it's a stunning display!
If you pull the forget-me-nots right when they start to look tired you can tame the reseeding issue. They can be a big mess :-)
Hugs,
Bella

Agreed, Red Bud trees I do declare take my breath away every time I see one.

The red bud branches are wonderful. It was a much better idea to take them inside rather than toss them!

Hi Cindy, Happy Pink Saturday to you too. Thanks for your visit and comments. I love your Red Bud branches. I think I might go cut some branches from my Azalea bush and bring them inside too. Have a great week. Joyous Wishes, Linda

Isn't that simply gorgeous? You're very lucky to have a garden like yours that you can prune and get lovely cuttings like that to take inside! Happy Pink Saturday <3

Your branches are beautiful--so much nicer on your table than in the wood chipper! I love red buds-we don't have them up here, I don't think. Have a wonderful day and hope you have time to post again soon. Linda

I love Redbud. I have been bugging my husband for one since we moved in 9 years ago ad he finally obliged and now I have 4, but they are all very small. They look lovely and the photos are very dreamy looking. Dianne
