To Soon Gone

To soon the lovely leaves ~ so full of color will be gone.
I took these pictures outside the nursing home where my Mother is staying.
The grounds there are so beautifully landscaped and captured my attention one
day while walking to the parking lot.  I just had to go back with my camera.  I stopped
to catch the color of the hydrangeas, but found myself fascinated with the
moss on this tree.

Slowly and quietly the colors of fall slip away.  These pictures were taken

on Saturday as the yellow leaves from my maple tree fell like snow ~
blanketing the ground.  I'm so thankful it was only leaves falling on
this sunny day and not the snow that the East coast was getting.
