Paris Flea Market
I spent my early morning hours at the Powell, Ohio street flea. They have it three times a year during the warmer months on Sundays. I pickedup a few things to sell at the store, but today I wantedto feature one of the shops in Powell, an outlying suburb of Columbus. The store is "Paris Flea Market" and they always have lovely things to tempt you.The outside of the store is so charming, it just draws you in.
I don't remember this wall painting of the Eiffel Tower from past visits, but it greets you and captures your attention as soon as you walkin the door.
And then there is this beautiful table set with a beach theme.
Let's take a stroll around the store.
Another beautiful table and tablescape in much softer colors.
I love this lemon vignette with it's pretty yellows. I would love tohave that set of glasses.
This black, white and red area is very striking.
I love this lovely white sideboard. It has the prettiest molding along thebottom and such delicate carvings.
A pretty way to display items.
Shop owners Marilyn Kuntz and Donna Carrel did not want to havetheir pictures taken for my blog, but Gillis, was perfectly eagerand willing to pose for me.
With all the weekly party memes in blogland, I'm sure we don't really need one more, but it would be fun to link up and show our area shops. I really likethe idea, but unfortunately between working full time and trying to refinish furniture for the store I'm involved with, I don't have time to host one. What a fabulous way to visit shops all over the country via everyone's blogs.Anyone interested?~Linking with~ The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays~Boogieboard Cottage for Masterpiece Monday~Dittle Dattle for Amaze Me Mondays~Mod Vintage Life for Mod Mix Mondays

What a GREAT PLACE! I'm certainly going to visit the website--thanks for that information via a lovely photo--but, oh, to be able to walk among all these goodies has my heart racing! I do get through Ohio occasionally, so I'm going to make note of this.

Finally back home and so in need of getting the house back in order but the lincoln log boxes and legos will just have to stay out for a bit as it has been busy already.
Bill was trying to surprise me with a birthday party for my 50th this week but had to let it out of the hat as something else came up and I hadn't realized he had this planned- it's at the house here so I guess I better get off my duff and get it ready!

Hi Cindy.
Believe it or not, I have never shopped in Powell. Isn't that crazy? This store looks very inviting. Maybe it is time for me to stop by.
Hi Cindy,
I used to go to those shops but it has been a long time. That particular shop looks really great! Things up there have changed quite a bit since I was antiquing up there. I will have to check things out next time I am in town!~Hugs, Patti
What a great idea for a meme! I know only a few popular shops in the Atlanta area. I would love to learn more about local shops.
What a great looking shop!
Would love to spend some time there for sure!
