Pale Yellow and Creamy Whites
First of all, I want to apologize for not responding to the kind commentsleft on my blog the last few weeks. Rest assure, I read and appreciate every one of them. I have been busy preparing for my upcoming Open House and justrecently, my sister and I made the decision to rent a space in anewly opening home decor store in town. We move into our boothspace the day after my Open House. So ~ needless to say ~ I have beenscrambling to find new items and refinish furniture. Not to mention my Etsy shop, which I have sorely neglected lately.~Anyways ~ today's post is showing off some sweet finds fromyard sales that will be appearing at the Open House or shop.My first find was this sweet butter yellow vintage container.
I promptly went out to find silk flowers to make an arrangement withand came home with these creamy peonies.
They almost look real with their floppy petals. I paired thepeonies with a little yellow bird and my next find ~ a lovelyvintage frame. Now I have seen this type of frame at flea markets, but never at a yard sale and it was a very sweet deal.
Add to that, my next find ~ a lovely tray with lattice sides.
While working on arrangements, I finally found something to putin this terrarium that I shared in an earlier post ~ just simpleivy and a candle arrangement.
By the time I was done arranging everything on the mantel for photos,I wanted to redecorate my living room from it's dark colors to paleyellow and creamy white.
Better get back to painting the new furniture pieces I also found. All in all ~ it was a very good yard sale weekend.

Very summery.
Love your goodies today! I have a white container exactly like your creamy yellow one. Love it! Sounds like you have been a busy lady. Don't overdo it okay??
Hugs~
I'd like to visit yard sales with you! What wonderful finds :-) Best of luck on your open house and booth!
Thank you so much for your prayers for my nephew too.
Blessings,
Marcia
Hi Cindy!
I'm your newest follower & must apologize for being so slow in finding your beautiful blog! I just spent 1/2 an hour poking around & as soon as I get another hot cuppa tea (sorry, you don't care for it) I'm going to check out some other posts.
You do some beautiful work & have already given me some new ideas. Thanks for the inspiration!
Good Luck with your open house! Where is the new shop located? I'm guessing someplace in Columbus, due to into in your bio. We get down there occasionally & I'd like to stop in. Maybe I could meet Sue from "Sullivan & Murphy" down there for a blogger get-together!
fondly,
Rett
Congratulations, Cindy!
What's the date of your Open House? You will have to let me know where your booth will be located.
Have a great day! La
Lovely treasures!
It‘s so nice that I found your blog about your link on Faded Charm. So I’ve scrolled a little and like what I see. Now I’m your new follower! ;)
Take care

Just beautiful. I think I will start looking for similiar things for my home. Thanks for sharing.
Cute birds! I don't seem to have the knack of finding treasures like that when hitting yard sales.

Oh goodness, I love this! I'm having a dickens of a time with something that I'm trying to do, and now I am thinking about picture frames.
This looks just wonderful.
And you shouldn't have to apologize for being busy!
Oh I love these colors! These look so pretty. Really like your blog!
Loved your post. I prefer whites with butter yellow in them to the stark white I often see. Reminds me of candlelight. .soft and glowing. This is what your post is to me. Just beautiful.
