Signs of Spring

The snowdrops have been blooming since January and the crocus weren't far behind.  But next comes another favorite sign of spring, which are the pussy willows.

Last fall I had the tree trimmers cut my pussy willow bush nearly down to the ground since it had grown higher than the house.  So that means, this spring I have very few branches to trim and bring inside.  But ~ there were just enough to fill this precious brown transferware vase that I can't remember now where and when I bought it.

As I change over my hutch for spring, I'm trying to fill it with my collection of bee items, and all things yellow and green.  But this corner of the hutch is still brown and white and fuzzy pussy willows.

Can spring be far behind?

Wow, Cindy, you are blooming faster than I just north of you!

I love Pussy Willows, my mom had them. I haven't seen them in person in a long time.

I hope trimming that will bring about a nice full bush when it grows.

Yes, I believe spring is right around the corner. Can't wait.

Hugs.

I keep calling spring but it just isn't interested in making an appearance around here, in fact it snowed this morning. I just want to see some tulips and daffodils! Love your pretty vase.

Spring.....will come....someday....usually not till close to summer....

Love the bee skep. I had one out in my garden for years in NM- before I ever had bees. Loved that thing but it was too fragile to move.

Cindy,
Oh, I'd be happy to pick some pussy willows! I settled, however, for some forsythia branches. I hope they bloom soon and add some bright yellow to my living room.
