I've been playing around making shell art for the shop. It's fun, buttakes unique bottles and lots of different shells to get the perfect fit. Ittook quite awhile to collect enough of each to make these fun creations. Here is a set of three blue bottles that look so pretty, especially when light is shining through them.
The shell art is all at the store right now, but whatever doesn't sell iscoming back to live with me, especially these three.
This creation is a combination of shells that I hot glued ontothis lovely candle holder.
These were all done with aqua colored bottles and shells thatare warm shades of brown.
But this one is my favorite ~ a candle holder I found on clearance
and a lovely piece of coral I picked up at a yard sale. They
look like they were picked right out of the ocean.

I just adore those blue bottles and what you have done with them. I must find me some so I can put them in our home.
Ooh, so pretty. I love the coral on the candle holder, very lovely.

Hi Cindy! Your bottles are lovely. I am going through an artistic phase of making altered bottles myself, although they don't have a beach theme. If I was lucky enough to live in a coastal state I would totally put these in my home!! On another note... good luck with your Caromal Colors paint. I'm sure you will find it as fun to work with as I did. :)
xo,
Karen
