You are right...the fragrance is heavenly! Mine was wafting in through the front bedroom window and the whole room was filled with the scent! Now that it is soggy again the blooms are starting to wane. I wish they could stay a little longer!~Hugs, Patti
I don't think there is anything better than the smell of lilacs. At work today one of the girls brought in a candle from Bath & Body called Fresh Lilac. (I think) I totally thought there were lilacs in our office. It smells incredible. We didn't have lilacs but we had the next best thing! Thanks for sharing...~Ann
I'll bet that scent was heavenly! I am very afraid of bees, but having a little garden the last few years has helped alot with this :-) Your photos are beautiful! Blessings, Marcia
Beautiful blooms..I love the grey and white paintwork with the pale blue/grey of the wisteria too. I can just imagine the scent..so sad that it was only for a week.
Wow wisteria is my favorite the first time i saw it in Sweden, wit temperate climate opposite ours. I saw it the 2nd time in Turkey and i am really smitten, however i read that here in the tropics it is invasive and might not grow as compact as yours. So i shelved my dream to have it. So it has scent! I didn't know that. But why is yours a little bit pale in color, I saw more dark violet ones? Is that the real color or maybe a variety? thanks.
