A Few More

Just a few more pics to share with you from last weekends trip
to the country for The Rural Society's farm sale.
I love how she filled these window boxes with gourds.

There were two of these beautiful windows installed in one of the out buildings
adding so much charm and character.  Every one of the numerous out
buildings had special additions of unique architectural items, giving each building it's
own personality and adding to the collective quaintness of the farm.

This large utility sink was located inside this same out building and filled
with gourds grown on the farm.

Rich velvet pumpkins with real pumpkin stems.

If I remember correctly, almost all of the items in this post were found in this same
out building and I overheard someone say this was the original sign for the farm.

  2. Cindy what a beautiful farm! I must confess I envy those who live on pretty pieces of land like this just a bit! The serenity and quiet and beauty in places like this are hard to come by.

I have been full of company for 3 weeks straight. Just got back home from driving my Mom 1/2 way home- my sister met me 1/2 way so I wouldn't have to do the whole 7 hours. We had a good week together which was a blessing as we have a tendency to butt heads alot!

Praying for you and family- and will catch up with an email soon-

    bee blessed

  3. I loved going back to all three of your last posts and see this beautiful farm. Your photos are gorgeous of it Cindy. It was almost as great as if I was there myself. I bet the sale was fun to attend. I sure am glad you took so many pictures to share with us all. It really has been a treat to see it all. I didn't have a favorite, but I did love seeing the vegetable gardens.
