A Simple Fall Table
Sometimes less is best.
My dining room table is very small and it doesn't take
much to fill it up. That's why for me ~ less is best.
~
Elegant off-white plates, with an ornate square salad plate, and topped
with a simple white gourd from the garden.
The centerpiece is a collection of chippy and rusty items with lots of texture,
and all in shades of off-white and rust.
These simple white gourds were volunteers in my garden this summer. They're almost as pretty as the little white pumpkins that are so popular right now.
I found this pretty little leaf while walking the dog one evening and
I think it looks like rust perfected by nature.

ReplyDeleteYes, LESS is BEST!
My favorite part of your table setting are the brown Fall leaves scattered here and there.
So happy you came by my blog, so that I could find yours.
Have a beautiful weekend,
Suzanne
Such a beautiful table friend! I am all about less and you have done it perfectly! The colors of your autumn table are unique and elegant! (I so love the light colors..so refreshing!!!) And how about your volunteer white gourds?!?! That is such a lovely gift from your garden! Happy weekend to you...your fall home is gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteYour creativity and eye for colour is reflected in your beautiful home decor and in your garden. The table setting is simple and elegant. The white gourds are unusual and together with the coppery leaves add the seasonal finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteAll the fall colors I love! I love the leaves strewn on the table, and that chippy wood piece. SO pretty to me!
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteYour styling is exquisitely elegant, showing a restraint that adds to the appeal of your rooms. Earthy textures resonate with an autumnal ambiance that welcome the season quietly, like a falling leaf to the ground.
